O Come let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!

— Psalm 95

It is our desire that the corporate worship experience here will be rich and deep and bring one greater knowledge of the God who loves us and calls us to serve others. With this knowledge we desire our people to honor God in the world outside these doors, touching lives with God's grace and truth.

There are (generally) two worship services each Sunday, 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The services are traditional in style with a friendly and welcoming spirit (we hope; if you experience otherwise please let us know). A staffed nursery is provided for each service. There are occasional combined worship services. Special music is provided at most services by our sanctuary choir, hand bell choir, or occasional soloists and instrumentalists.

Everyone is welcome to worship at Woodstock United Methodist Church!! For Holy Communion the table is open to all; you do not need to be a member of this church, nor a member of the United Methodist Church.

For the first-time guest, there is always the question of which door to enter. Our parking lots are not convenient to the front door that is at 156 S. Muhlenberg Street. The parking lot at the corner of Muhlenberg and Dingledine (closest to the post office) is the most convenient to the front doors — just follow the sidewalk along Muhlenberg. The first path you come to from this direction leads into the fellowship hall, while the next path leads to the main doors of the sanctuary.

Parking on High Street (limited space) provides an accessible entrance with signage on the sidewalk and a very close door and ramp. This is the best entrance for those with limited mobility, as any other entrance will require you to navigate at least a few stairs to access the sanctuary.

In the rear of the church off Commerce Street, you will find more parking near to the door to the Child Care Center, which brings you into the main room of the CC Center. The door closest to the playground leads directly into the Eva Bargelt Fellowship Hall (EBH). For the first time guest coming to worship this would be the most awkward entrance of the four.
